Wai

Wai is a town in Satara District, in Maharashtra state, India. Located on the Krishna River, Wai was a town of some prominence in the days of the Peshwas. It’s a beautiful hill town with a limited population which is quite nearby to the Krishna River in the Satara district of Maharashtra. Wai is beautifully surrounded by a range of mountains in the Sahyadri region making it a perfect photogenic location for you and your friends. Wai which is around 7.5 metres above the sea level is one of the understated yet beautiful hill stations of Maharashtra.

Also known as the Dakshin Kashi, Wai is located in Maharashtra and has over 100 ancient and old temples which are nothing short of picturesque.
