Panchgani

The discovery of Panchgani can be traced back to the colonial era where in the British Officers found it after they came to know they could not enter or access the Mahabaleshwar during the monsoons, they decided to come up with a almost same hill station which led to the foundation of Panchani. In the satara district of Maharashtra, Panchgani was once famous way before Mahabaleshwar and Lonavala came into the scene. One of the most beautiful & oldest hill stations is also famous for its high class hostels where the kids of the elite and bollywood have studied and still study. Apart from that, its also famous for its Sydney point(above in the picture) , its tasty food & natural ambience. It is renowned for the many premier residential educational institutions.
