Nanded Gurudwara – Haur Sahib Gurudwara Nanded

Situated in Harsh Nagar at Nanded District in Maharashtra, this is a holy and spiritual place where everyone comes to seek blessings and peace. Sri Hazur Sahib is also one of five Takhats (thrones) which is considered to the place of high importance to the Sikhs. Sri Guru Gobind Singhji, while conferring Guruship on the holy Book had named Nanded region as Abchalnagar (steadfast city). The word Sachkhand (which means region of Truth) was used to mean the “abode of God” It is builded between 1832 – 1837 by Maharaja RanjitSingh, it is located on the bank of river Godavari. The inner room of gurudwara is called the Angitha Sahib and is built over the place where Guru Gobind Singh ji was cremated in 1708.

Accommodation is provided by Gurudwara Trust & you can book rooms online too!. For good rooms, you can also stay in an NRI complex which is 500 meters away from Hazur Sahib. The 24 hour tariff for AC room with attached bath & geyser costs Rs. 500/-. There is also a.24 hour Langar seva which is available at the Gurudwara Complex alongwith a schedule of Gurbani (paath) means prayers from early morning to night.  Apart from that there are souvenir shops/eateries/medical stores etc. near the Gurudwara.

How to reach here:

From Mumbai by road distance is 619.3 km. require 12 hrs to reach Gurudwara, Nanded.

By railway  if we are going then train starts from Dadar to Sahib Nanded Station is around 11h 8m and covers a distance of around 595 km. Typically 23 services run weekly, although weekend and holiday schedules can vary so check in advance.
