Bassein Beach

Bassein Beach is amongst the lesser crowded beaches of Maharashtra and is located 77kms away from Mumbai. It’s a peaceful beach which also looks quite similar to the exotic beaches of Goa. So incase if you are running short of time to go to Goa, you can always visit this beach and have a chill time.
The ruins of the fort built by the Portuguese are still intact at this beach while you can also enjoy their speciality portuguese cuisine amidst the dense forests of brushwood and palm grooves.
